About FCC

We have built upon a rich heritage dating all the way back to “Union Colony” days to become a church with stimulating and exciting ministries for today. The message of Jesus Christ, and striving to serve as Christ did, continues to be our foundation. We seek, as the Body of Christ, to help meet the needs of others during these trying and challenging times.

At First Congregational Church we are:

  • Christ-centered - people who see the church as the Body of Christ and follow and live the word of Christ in the world today.
  • Biblically grounded - people who take the Bible seriously as the Word of God and who wrestle with its meaning in our time.
  • Welcoming and inclusive - people who are open, non-judgmental and diverse, people on a shared faith journey, who are accepting of all God's children.
  • Gathered to worship - people who worship together and learn together to develop and grow in our faith.
  • Scattered to serve - people who believe in mission work within our church family, our community and the world.

We invite you to be a part of the future of First Congregational Church!
