Come stop at our knitting table; Really---come take a look. You’ll have a chance to see what we’ve done With our needles and a hook. There are lots of dishcloths and scrubbies, Baby blankets, mittens and shawls, Hot pads, scarves and soap bags--- Stuff you won’t find at the mall. We’re knitting and crocheting for Habitat; Our income goes straight to this group. We’ve gradually added more people to help; We have quite a good knitting troop. Right now there are 11 of us knitters: We’re creative but we have a plan, So far it’s been only the female gender, But we’d welcome a knitting man. We want you to buy our items--- Or you could help us knit. Perhaps you’d like to donate yarn, Or $ for yarn would be a hit. We’re also selling chocolate; It’s Ghirardelli chocolate sauce. It tastes so good on ice cream, But NOT helpful for achieving weight loss. Come and see all our treasures; At our table, take a long pause. Help us now however you can; You know it’s for a good cause!
